Did You Receive Orders During the School Year?
We’re here to support you every step of the way.


At Saint Mary Star of the Sea School, we understand the unique challenges military families face. If you receive orders to relocate during the school year, our staff is committed to making your child’s transition as smooth as possible.

  • Student Records: We maintain records in full compliance with Virginia state and federal laws. Once you receive your orders, please contact the school office so we can begin the process. Upon request from your child’s new school, we will promptly forward official records.

  • Registration Support: Our team is here to help families with the withdrawal and registration process as you prepare to transition to your next duty station.

  • Tuition: As outlined in the Financial Contract, military families are only responsible for tuition for the months their child has attended. You are not required to pay the full annual tuition upon departure.
