Tuition Assistance Applications for 2026–2027

Families may apply now through FACTS Financial Assistance. A $40 application fee is required.

  • Applications submitted before February 15, 2026 must include 2024 tax documents

  • Applications submitted after February 15, 2026 must include 2025 tax documents

  • If your 2025 taxes may be delayed, we strongly recommend applying by February 15.

Tuition assistance applies to tuition only and is awarded as funds are available after FACTS and diocesan review.

Tuition Assistance Opportunities

Diocese of Richmond Tuition Assistance Program

Each year, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond provides tuition assistance to help make Catholic education more affordable. Supported by parishes across the Diocese, this aid is available to baptized Catholic students registered in a parish and attending diocesan schools. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need.

Education Improvement  Scholarships Tax Credits Program (EISTC)

Through Virginia’s Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credit (EISTC) program, donations to the McMahon Parater Foundation provide need-based scholarships for Virginia students attending Catholic schools. Both Catholic and non-Catholic students may qualify if family income meets program guidelines and the student meets eligibility requirements (such as entering K–1, transferring from public school, new to Virginia, or a prior recipient).
