Education Improvement  Scholarships Tax Credits Program (EISTC)

Every year, we rely on EISTC funds to help serve all families, regardless of their financial situation. Through Virginia’s Education Improvement Scholarship Tax Credit (EISTC) program, donations to the McMahon Parater Foundation provide need-based scholarships for Virginia students attending Catholic schools.

Both Catholic and non-Catholic students may qualify if the family income meets program guidelines and the student meets eligibility requirements, such as:

  • Entering Kindergarten or 1st grade
  • Transferring from a public school
  • New to Virginia
  • Prior EISTC scholarship recipient
